Site Supervisor

We are looking for a 
 
Site Supervisor (m/f/d)
 
In this position you will work closely with the contract manager to fulfill the agreement requirements and strengthen our site operation.

 

The ideal candidate would have a background in Field Service, or similar activities.
 
The location for the position will be in Dresden, Germany.
 
What will you be doing 
 
As Site Supervisor, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
 

  • Ensuring that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract 
  • Training operation procedures and standards for the plant crew
  • Assisting the Agreement Manager as required
  • Developing the operation working routines at the plant
  • Prioritizing maintenance activities together with Field Service and Agreement manager
  • Acting accordingly to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures
  • Coordinating of the required logistic processes
  • Ensuring continuous reporting to the Agreement manager
  • Maintaining the plant operation, at the highest quality level

 
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
 

  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Problem solving mindset with a proactive approach towards problem resolution
  • Good, already acquired, networking inside the company is seen as an advantage
  • Able to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Flexible approach to work; open & willing to adapt to change
  • Self starter that can work both independently and as a part of agreement management as a team
  • Excellent knowledge of English and German both written and spoken

 
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
